Elvis Mogoi is a native of Kenya, and fell in love with studying and sharing the Bible in fifth grade. He served as a youth leader and children’s instructor early in life and his ministry involved conducting seminars, speaking engagements at youth forums and workshops. He led several campaigns against drug abuse and creating awareness for HIV/AIDS. In the United States, he served as a program coordinator for minority male health at Lincoln University from 2007 to 2009, an assignment that focused on promoting healthy lifestyle among minority males as well as bridging the generation gap between the more seasoned men and the upcoming boys through mentoring.
He joined the pastoral ministry in 2010 and has been serving for the past ten years in Wilmington, Delaware. He married the love of his life Carolyn Mosomi in 2011 and they partner together in ministry. He is currently serving the West Wilmington and Life in Christ congregations. He has received training in Political Science from Lincoln University, PA and Pastoral Ministry from Andrews University, MI. His purpose in life is knowing more about God and making Him known to others. His hope in ministry is not found in his talents but in God who is the author and finisher of His faith. His goal is to support in the molding of a community that exhibits love for one another and is prepared to spend eternity with God.
Not I but Christ, be seen, be known, be heard.
